2025 Historic Athens Award

The Athenian Inn has been honored with the Historic Athens Outstanding Rehabilitation Award! Originally built around 1848, the Stevens Thomas home has seen many uses over the years and was carefully restored with architectural support from David Matheny of AMT. The project preserved the home’s historic charm while adding a thoughtful 3,000-square-foot expansion, now featuring 11 unique guest suites and two gathering areas. It’s been a privilege to help bring new life to this beloved Athens landmark.
