2025 Georgia Planning Association’s Fall Conference in Athens, GA

Last week, three members of our AMT team, Natalie Hooten, Chase Zech, and Ilia Chernitsky attended the 2025 Georgia Planning Association’s Fall Conference in Athens, GA.

They joined educational sessions on topics like creative site documentation, waste management systems, and regional transit planning—all centered around how communities grow and adapt.

As Natalie remarked, “The fall conference was a great opportunity to meet other planning professionals. My favorite session was Navigating a Changing Grant Landscape, where the presenters discussed how to organize projects to procure federal grants, pursue state, local, and private funding, and how to create strategic partnerships.”

Events like this give our team a chance to learn from peers across Georgia and bring new ideas back to our office.
