We loved getting to celebrate the ribbon cutting for the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia at the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce’s Mid-Year Event. It has been rewarding to get to work with the Food Bank of NEGA staff and Kevin Price Construction to build a facility that will allow them to increase their ability to provide food for those in the community. We are happy to say AMT is a sponsor of the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce’s Mid-Year Event. This year they will be celebrating at the new Food Bank of Northeast Georgia’s facility following their ribbon cutting ceremony. The Food Bank distributed 11 million pounds of food last year from their existing facility and we are excited to celebrate how they will expand their support of the community in this new facility which was designed by AMT.

AMT received the Project of Excellence Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers for our work on the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia. The award was given to an outstanding project of merit that contributes to the well-being of people and communities.
