David Matheny receives the 2017 GAMG Community Service Award
Congratulations to David Matheny, a volunteer at the Georgia Museum of Art for recently receiving the 2017 Georgia Association of Museums and Galleries (GAMG) Community Service Award!
The GAMG serves the entire state of Georgia as a private, non-profit museum and gallery association.
David Matheny is on the Board of Advisors of the Georgia Museum of Art. The Georgia Museum of Art is both a university museum at the University of Georgia and, since 1982, the official state museum of art located on the East Campus of UGA, in the Performing and Visual Arts Complex. The Georgia Museum of Art shares the mission of the University of Georgia to support and to promote teaching, research and service.
