The Todd Building
For this Design-Build project, AMT provided the design of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering aspects for the construction of a new 1-Story Office Building (2,540 sq. ft.) and Storage Building (1,320 sq. ft.).
Combining the desire for both a contemporary expression and inspiration from traditional architecture, the volume of the building adopts a shed roof combined with storefront and brick walls. Inside the building, the main volume framed by two storefront walls serves as multi-purpose space. This place comes with an open ceiling exposing wooden beams and sloped roof combined with polished floor reinforcing the simplicity and connection of the interior environment with the nature.
Located on the corner of Gaines School Road and Sunnyview Road, this building is already becoming a landmark for the lovely city of Athens.
