Colonial Beechwood Properties

AMT provided civil site, landscape architecture, storm drainage and utilities, structural engineering and architectural design for the redevelopment of this shopping plaza. The staff at AMT developed the design for the renovation the existing structures. Among this design work was the demolition of buildings which created the space and layout for the new T.J. Maxx anchor store. Additional parking and landscaping was included to help handle the increase of pedestrian and car traffic due to the addition of new merchants. Other factors were considered with the renovation to include the design additional lighting to ensure safety for both the front and back parking lots. The additional lighting was also designed to meet the lighting standards implemented by Athens-Clarke County.
